Your braided wig deserves gentle care. Follow these simple steps to keep it looking beautiful for longer.
Daily Care
• Handle the wig gently and avoid pulling the braids, lace or hairline.
• Use your fingers to separate and arrange the braids. Avoid using a fine-tooth comb on braided sections.
• Apply a small amount of lightweight braid spray or mousse when needed. Avoid heavy oils that may cause build-up.
• For wigs with loose curls, gently separate the curls with your fingers. Do not brush them roughly.
Washing Your Wig
• Wash only when necessary.
• Add a small amount of mild shampoo to cool or lukewarm water.
• Gently dip and move the wig through the water. Do not rub, twist or scrub the braids.
• Rinse carefully with clean, cool water.
• Pat away excess water with a towel. Do not wring the wig.
• Place it on a wig stand and allow it to air-dry completely.
Lace Care
• Handle the lace carefully when putting on or removing your wig.
• Do not pull the wig by the lace.
• Remove adhesive gently with a lace-safe remover and follow the product instructions.
• Avoid scratching or brushing the lace area.
Heat
Our wigs are made with synthetic braiding hair. Keep them away from excessive heat, open flames, hot styling tools and very hot water unless the individual product instructions state otherwise.
Sleeping
For best results, remove your wig before sleeping. If you sleep in it, cover the hair with a satin bonnet or scarf to reduce friction and tangling.
Storage
Store your wig on a wig stand or mannequin head in a clean, dry place. Keep long braids neatly arranged and away from direct sunlight, dust and moisture.
